Come along to Wood Wharf, Canary Wharf and join The Richard House Children’s hospice in attempting to break the Guinness World Record for the largest gathering of people dressed as penguins. After the initial congregation has been counted by officiators, there will be a short 2km dash around Wood Wharf in which everyone is invited to participate by walking, jogging or waddling. Children can opt to make their own penguin outfits and enter a fancy dress competition whilst for £15 (and with a minimum sponsorship of £100), adults receive their penguin costume and one child under 12 can go for free – all in aid of the Richard House Children’s Hospice.
