More gourmet stars are shining on Northern Germany’s culinary skies. For 2014, the prestigious Michelin Guide awarded 12 stars to Hamburg’s top eateries, including three 2-star restaurants. Two stars each went to Haerlin and chef Christoph Rüffer, Jacobs Restaurant with chef Thomas Martin, as well as Süllwerk Seven Seas, with it’s classical French cuisine influenced by the “seven seas”. Newcomer Anna Sgroi’s restaurant by her name joins the one-star ranks of Küchenwerkstatt, Landhaus Scherrer, Le Canard Nouveau, and Piment.
