Vienna – On 30th April 2014 the Dorotheum will offer for sale Memorabilia of Emperor Franz Joseph, Empress Elisabeth, Archduke Franz Ferdinand and many others. Nearly 200 objects with historical imperial associations will be presented at the annual Dorotheum Imperial Memorabilia Auction on 30th April 2014. One hundred years after the assassination at Sarajevo that triggered World War I, the auction features many imperial memorabilia connected to the Austrian imperial family, in particular from Emperor Franz Joseph, Empress Elisabeth, the designated successor Franz Ferdinand, as well as Emperor Maximilian.
