Autumn 2014 Museum Opening in Paris

The Musée Picasso Paris will open on October 25th. During the «Journées européennes du patrimoine » (European Heritage days) on September 20th and 21st, a special public preview will invite visitors to discover the Hôtel Salé, a XVIth century mansion in Le Marais neighborhood. The ministry of Culture and Communication, Aurélie Filippetti, and the president of the museum, Laurent Le Bon, announced last Monday that the Musée Picasso Paris will re-open on October 25th, date of Pablo Picasso’s birth. On September 20th and 21st, a free public preview will give access to one of the most beautiful mansions in Paris, from 9.30 am until 6.00 pm. During these two exceptional days, an exhibition on the site, its architecture and the museum project will be held. Another special date before the official opening will be the Nuit Blanche (White Night) on October 4th . On this occasion, Tambors, an original creation of Babx, will be shown at 8.30pm.
