The Flyting at Stirling Castle

Join us for the rare chance to enjoy one of Scotland’s oldest art forms. The Flyting of the warring makars William Dunbar and Walter Kennedy of 1504, which was originally performed in front of King James IV, will be brought back into the 21st century in a battle of wit, learning and language. Learn more about 16th-century court life and also discover more about the Scots Language from Chris Robinson. The Flyting is part of ‘Previously…Scotland’s History Festival’. For more information on the festival please visit www.historyfest.co.uk Date: November 14, 2014
