“Unknown Russia” Exhibition at the Mc Fine Arts Gallery

blogpic_monaco_russiaAs part of Russian Year in Monaco, the Mc Fine Arts Gallery is organizing an exhibition of Russian art, focusing on Russian art from the first half of the 20th century – an era when Russian artists, forced to leave their country after the Revolution of 1917, emigrated to France. In exile, a number of artists took refuge on the Côte d’Azur and resided in Monaco. Their works embraced Western cultural identity while remaining different, because of their Russian artistic culture. The works displayed are part of the Tatiana and Georgy Khatsenkov collection and will be on show to the public this summer from 25 June to 29 August 2015.
