The Festival Orchestra sets off the season with two nights of an all-Mozart extravaganza starring iconic pianist Emanuel Ax and the Metropolitan Opera’s rising star soprano Erin Morley on Tuesday, July 28 and Wednesday, July 29.
Beyond opening night, the Festival Orchestra shares the stage with stellar soloists like pianists Jeremy Denk, Steven Osborne, and Lars Vogt and the unparalleled violinist Joshua Bell, as well as favorite guest conductors Edward Gardner and Andrew Manze. Exciting artists on the rise make their Mostly Mozart debuts with the orchestra, including charismatic cellist Sol Gabetta and conductors Cornelius Meister and Cristian Măcelaru.
