Edinburgh – Scottish Artists 1750-1900: From Caledonia to the Continent is the first Royal Collection Trust exhibition to be devoted solely to Scottish art in the Royal Collection, and brings together paintings, drawings and miniatures collected by monarchs from George III to Queen Victoria.   The exhibition includes works by Scottish artists, such as Allan Ramsay and Sir David Wilkie, of scenes from abroad as well as those rooted in their native land.   Dates:  From Thursday, 6 August 2015 to Sunday, 7 February 2016
