What to do when one party ends and you’re waiting for the next to begin? Why not brunch together?! Dresden offers a wide range of brunches: unconventional, high-class, early-morning, international or child-friendly, with one thing in common: delicious foods made from the best ingredients, lovingly presented in perfect settings with friendly staff to make you feel at home.

Programmkino Ost runs a monthly Frühstyxkino. From 10.15 a.m., fans of the silver screen can enjoy a culinary treat preparing them for film fun starting at 11.15 a.m. The films shown are from the current programme. The Winzerbrunch (wine-growers’ brunch) in the lovely atmosphere of Schloss Wackerbarth welcomes friends of the grape on Sundays and public holidays from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The brunch starts off with sparkling wine, then fine wines are served from noon with a buffet of good, honest food. Arriving at Dresden’s main station early in the morning? Then you can enjoy the treats on offer at the Marché, which is in the station building itself, from 8 a.m. on weekdays. At the weekend, visitors can enjoy a lie-in before the gourmet buffet opens at 11.30 a.m. with seasonal dishes, baked goods from the restaurant’s own bakery, fresh pasta and freshly squeezed juices. Marché Dresden, Monday to Friday 8 – 11 a.m., € 15.90 / Saturday, Sunday and public holidays 11:30 a.m.– 3 p.m., € 19.90

The Crêpes Café Dresden offers freshly made pancakes for its weekend brunch. The French speciality is available both sweet and savoury from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. As well as crêpes, guests will also find classic Continental breakfast ingredients such as bread rolls, jam, cold cuts and cheese, spreads, fresh fruit and hot meals at the buffet.Saturday and Sunday 10 a.m. – 2 p.m., € 7.90 (drinks not included)

At the Sunday brunch in Kindercafé Kleckerbar, children are more than welcome to make a mess. Child-friendly meals and drinks from organic production are seasonally selected to suit foodies old and young.
